BLUSH, BRONZER, HIGHLIGHTER & SETTING SPRAY: TOP PICKS AT SEPHORA 2024
My fave setting powders, bronzers, blush, highlighters and setting sprays at Sephora. There is an overwhelming number of options in this category if you go online, so trust this is me pairing it WAY down. If it says “NEW” in the title, it is a new favorite that hasn’t been on the list before.
GIVENCHY
LOOSE POWDER
I LOVE this for under the eyes with a velour puff (I have these in my amazon store). I wear the shade Voile Rose which has a pink tone and really brightens up under the eyes. Over 40 approved. I’m obsessed with it. They make in a variety of shades. It is a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way.
HUDA BEAUTY
LOOSE POWDER
If I had to choose a second fave PINK powder next to Givenchy, it would be this. It’s half the price and very brightening. I don’t think it’s as blurring though. I like Cherry Blossom.
ONE/SIZE
ULTIMATE BLURRING POWDER
In my PRO Kit, this is my go-to setting powder for the face. It softly blurs and sets and lasts longer than most others IMO. I don’t love it under the eyes if you have fine lines, but it can work. They also sell a mini which is nice if you only use it once in a while or you want it for travel. An especially good pick if you are normal to oily.

AIRSET LOOSE SETTING POWDER
This is an over 40 approved setting powder for sure. It has a soft focus finish, works well under the eyes, and gives an ever-so-slight luminous finish. I wear translucent and it is nice under the eyes. I would recommend more for normal to dry or those not wanting to be super matte, but like to be set. So if you like the idea of Givenchy but don’t want pink, use this under your eyes.

AIRBRUSH FLAWLESS FINISH SETTING POWDER
If you want a compact to set under your eyes this is the one. I use shade 1 Fair. You can softly set with this or touch up on the go.

If you want an all in one cream bronzer, contour, also foundation options this is fab. Creams that set to a powder and are long wearing. Like Seint but better. Not great for deep dark skin tones.

Good overall cream bronzer stick. I like the shape of the bullet because it’s not too thin, not too thick. Blends out easily can be worn solo or under powder foundation. I wear Happy Sol.

If you like your cream bronzer in a compact, love this. I wear in medium. It is very subtle to add dimension. I use my foundation brush to apply. You can layer powder bronzer on top for the ultimate bronze.

PSA: Turn to the off position before putting it away. This is a fun liquidy bronzer option to use. I like it solo for a subtle bronze, I don’t enjoy layering powders on top as it can start to break apart. I wear fair/medium.

PARK AVE PRINCESS MATTE
I love this bronzer and it’s reasonably priced. It’s my favorite for fair to light skin tones because it’s a bit cooler in tone and doesn’t make you look like an Oompa Loompa. Make sure to get the matte one, there is a frosty version that is no bueno.

MATTE RADIANCE BAKED POWDER
If you want a good bronzer, but don’t want to splurge on Gucci (may I point out that this is only $20 less…lol) Laura is good basic bronzer. I like for light to medium skin tones. Her darker toned options are meh. I wear shade 04.

BRONZER
Luxury beauty and effing amazing. The compact is beautiful, but the product is GORGE. I love applying with the Sephora Collection PRO 93 brush. I wear shade 03. I think it’s worth every penny. My absolute fave. The deeper shades pull too red. 03 is it or nothing. The lighter shades can run yellow.

Fenty Bronzer is amazing for Dark to Deep Dark skin tones. The shade range is gorg and my most used shades are Coco Naughty and Mocha Mami. It’s beautiful on.

DEWY CHEEK AND LIP PALETTE
This is not as bright as it looks. Gorgeous for a dewy cheek that isn’t sparkly. You can layer powders on top and you can create a pretty ombre cheek too! LOVE.

These sticks are slept on. They go on beautifully and give a sheer wash of color… almost wet. You can build them up, use them before or after powder blush and on the lips too! I love divine rose or forbidden fluer (not as dark as it looks)!

Remember when Benetint from Benefit was all the rage? A sheer cheek and lip tint but ONLY in that red rose color? This is that, but more fun and better shade range. I prefer to apply with Elf Double Sided Complexion brush taken directly off the stick as opposed to applying on the cheek directly. They are a sheer stain. I love Poppy Pink but they are all good!

A sheer clean beauty liquid blush that is less intense than Rare and easier to blend. I like to roll on back of my hand and pick up with a brush and then apply to my cheeks. I love this bright pink shade “Baby” the most.
RARE BEAUTY
LIQUID BLUSH
These liquid blushes are so pigmented it’s wild. You barely need more than one dot. I like to blend out with a foundation brush and this is stunning mixed with a couple of dots of Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. I love the shades Happy and Believe.

She’s a legend. So so gorgeous. Make sure you turn the tip to the off position so it doesn’t leak. A few dots of this are like liquid blush and highlighter in one. Constantly sold out so snag one while you can!

MATTE WANDS
So obsessed. This is matte. If you want long wearing blush, add a few dots of this under your powder blush and it will make it pop. Layers so beautifully without causing any separation. I like the shade Pink Pop.

BLUSH IN ‘JUST ENOUGH’
Perf pink blush, as per usual very pigmented so use a fluffy brush and a light hand. Absolutely gorge. The shade is Just Enough.

The most perfect pink blush. It starts off soft and you can build it up as bright as it looks. It is a matte blush.

This formula is so gorge. A slight sheen giving you a gorge glow. They payoff is buildable and you can use on your eyes + cheeks. Best of all the brush it comes with is an amazing crease brush! LOL. You can't go wrong.

My fave peachy pink at Sephora. Absolutely glowy and gorge. Sheer wash when applied solo, but looks good over cream blush too!

Obsessed with the gorgeous wet look this highlighter gives you. I like to apply with a fan brush (Morphe) and it is over 40 approved. It does crumble easily so don’t take it in your makeup bag and throw in your purse. I wear the shade Starlight Beach.
BOBBI BROWN
PINK GLOW
I love this finely milled highlighter. They sell in a mini which I highly recommend as you will have forever, no need for the full size. It is over 40 approved. Doesn’t show up that well on fair or light skin tones. A more subtle option than Caliray.
RARE BEAUTY
4 IN 1 SETTING SPRAY
This is one of my favorite Rare Beauty products. It is dewy magic. You can spray before or during foundation application for a better blend and at the end of your makeup to give it that lived in, glazed donut kinda vibe. Fab for over 40 as well. This is dewy AF. If you are oily you may want to run for the hills.

HYDROGRIP SETTING SRPAY
This will LOCK you in like All Nighter, but it’s clean beauty and alcohol free. This is a great choice if either of those things are important to you (dry, sensitive, etc).
URBAN DECAY
ALL NIGHTER SETTING SPRAY
My go-to setting spray for special events, oily skin and when you don’t want your makeup to budge. For daily use, it can be a bit drying if you are dry. If you don’t use often they sell a mini which is also nice for travel!
ONE/SIZE
SETTING SPRAY
Your shit will not budge. Hardcore. Perfect for humidity, hot flashes, high temps, or whenever you need it. It’s like hairspray for your face. It works, though I wouldn’t use everyday myself. They make a mini of it! I blow through the full size in my PRO kit.
